While both graphic design agencies and freelancers have their pros and cons, hiring an agency includes some very distinct advantages.
The combined experience of an agency is really a big advantage for a customer as graphic design agencies will have teams of staff looking following a job, which means there won’t be any risk of sick staff postponing a deadline. Agencies will also do have more experience than freelancers in coping with large clients and accounts and will usually have an extended set of satisfied clients. Another big advantageous asset of an agency is that because of the size, the agency teams can develop a broader array of ideas than the usual single freelancer can. A style agency will have access to higher resources then a freelancer with an increase of extensive industry contacts and better equipment. Graphic Design Agency
The actual advantageous asset of hiring an agency is that you generally understand what you’re going to obtain, while freelancers are more unpredictable. I don’t speak for many freelancers but in my experience most are after big chucks of money and often don’t take into account the client’s must the exact same level being an agency.
Graphic design agencies hire accounts people to deal with clients and manage expectations while a freelancer is a lot more than likely to be a designer in your mind and are usually not so good at building client relations. This can result in missed deadlines and unreliable work ethic. I don’t speak for many freelancers needless to say but there can be no doubt that agencies are better organised.
